Safety Plan for Bishop’s Court

In line with advice from the NSW Government, a bespoke Covid-19 Safety Plan for Bishop’s Court Estate was developed in August 2020. It’s primary aim was to maintain a safe environment for all guests, staff, suppliers and ourselves.

Bishop’s Court was then registered with the NSW Government and received Covid-19 Safe Business accreditation on August 3, 2020.

In keeping with the current social distancing requirements Christine has re-opened a limited number of rooms in order reduce numbers in-house.

Due to the nature of a stay at Bishop’s Court with all its little personalised extras, it is essential we provide guests with the required space so they can continue to socialise and enjoy their time with us.

Christine is monitoring the Covid-19 situation extremely carefully, and following all Government and Health department warnings and recommendations.

Planning a holiday, or meeting or celebration can still prove problematic at times, even in 2021, so please call us regarding your booking on (02) 6332-4447.

Should you suddenly be caught up in a Covid-19 event which includes Hot Spot notifications and Government–issued Health Orders or if you are feeling unwell, please call us as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a satisfactory solution - whether it be a full refund or a deferral of your visit.

On arrival at Bishop’s Court every single guest will be asked to register using our QR Code, as well as to sign into our paper register, sanitise their hands and have their temperatures taken.

Hand sanitiser is now thoughtfully provided in every room throughout Bishop’s Court and we respectfully ask you use it frequently particularly when moving from area to area.

Christine is absolutely delighted to once again assist guests with their travel arrangements for 2021. Call her on 61 422 303 311 and she will manage your booking arrangements personally.

Amended Booking Cancellation/Deferment Policy

Bishop’s Court Estate’s existing Cancellation/Refund policy remains unchanged, but we have built in some flexibility as a result of Covid 19 into the need to make changes within the usual 30 day non-refund period in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

They are as follows:

In consideration of the health and well-being of others, we ask that prior to a planned arrival any guest who feels ill or unwell or is under advice to self isolate, to please contact us to arrange a deferral of their booking.

We will happily credit any funds paid toward the cost of a stay at a later date, up until April 30, 2021.

For all existing accommodation and event bookings made directly with us or on our website or by phone:

In the event you do need to postpone your stay owing to either illness or to updated government advice regarding travel/social distancing/isolation restrictions, we will happily move your reservation to later date up to April 30 2021 subject to availability at no additional cost.

For all bookings made via a third party such as Expedia, booking dot com etc we will adhere to their cancellation policies but guests may find they do charge a cancellation fee.

Government enforced hotel and accommodation closures

If this occurs, we will contact all guests and offer to move their stay to a later date.

Should Christine become unwell and needs to self isolate, leading to a temporary closure of Bishop’s Court Estate.

All guests for the ensuing two months and be offered either a cancellation of booking with full refund or the option to change your booking to a later date up to April 30, 2021.
